Transport for London

We are the integrated transport authority responsible for meeting the Mayor's strategy and commitments on transport in London. We run the day-to-day operation of the Capital's public transport network and manage London's main roads.

Virtually everyone who visits, lives or works in London will use one of our services and every one of those journeys matters to us.

We are committed to contributing to a safer, healthier and thriving London. That is why we work closely with London's 32 boroughs and the City of London and community groups to integrate transport planning and operations across the Capital.

We work with organisations and elected representatives that speak for our customers. This includes local and national government, business, passenger representatives, statutory watchdogs, consumer groups, think tanks and the voluntary sector.
