United Colleges Group
Description
United Colleges Group is formed of two colleges: City of Westminster College and the College of North West London. We are one of the largest Further Education providers in London, serving the communities of Central and North West London for over 130 years. Today, our reach extends far beyond our local areas as we draw interest from students across all of London. With a commitment to excellence, we now provide training, development and education to over 11,000 students every year.
Here at United Colleges Group, we are committed to providing students with outstanding, world class education. Our work towards delivering this mission for London and Londoners is built on our six key values, being student-focussed, transparent, ambitious, inclusive, respectful and supportive. Together these values form the STAIRS that help to support our leaners to reach their goals and aspirations.
At United Colleges Group, we pride ourselves on running a range of inspiring and engaging courses, all which develop creative thinking and provide students with the skills and knowledge to success in the real-world. We offer a diverse and exciting range of vocational programmes including T Levels, BTECs and Diplomas/Extended Diplomas in engineering, construction, business and accounting, science, health and social care, education and childcare, design and digital production, media, art and photography, music and performing arts, sports and fitness, hair and beauty, travel and tourism, plumbing, welding and fabrication, green skills, motor vehicle and repair, painting and decorating. We also offer a wide array of A Levels for those who are interested in the arts, sciences and humanities.
United Colleges Group has a total of five specialised campuses, alongside the Cockpit, a purpose-built commercial theatre situated in Marylebone. The City of Westminster College has two main campuses, Paddington Green and Maida Vale. Our Paddington Campus has over 200 courses and dedicated facilities for our soon to be music producers, engineers, mechanics and flight attendants. The Maida Vale Campus is designed for our special education students, featuring several multi-sensory rooms, and a specially adopted, fully fitted kitchen and utility room. The College of North West London has three campuses and offers over 250 career-focused courses. Our Wembley Park Campus is designed specifically for our hair and beauty students, whereas the Willesden Campus and the Euston Skills Centre are two bespoke construction and green skills centres that mirror real-life building sites. Some of the courses we offer at our Willesden Campus alongside the Euston Skills Centre are plumbing, electrical installation, welding and fabrication, and air conditioning and refrigeration.
