If you are a teacher or working at a school and registering for an event, you will also need to provide us with your school’s name and address and your job title.
If you attend Step Up Expo, your registration data will be collected by the event organisers, exhibitors, and sponsors. You may be asked to provide your details at individual exhibitor stands if you wish to use their services or agree to be contacted by them.
You may choose to have your entry badge scanned by an exhibitor at the event. For further information about how your data is used, you should contact the exhibitor.

What do we use this data for?
- Event administration purposes i.e. sending you a ticket
- Emailing you relevant information relating to the event, for example information about the sponsors and exhibitors you will meet on the day
- Sending you a survey asking for feedback

- Dealing with any query or complaint. Only provide sensitive data (such as information about your health, race or religion) if you are happy to consent to our using it to manage your enquiry.
- Improving the design and style of the website.
We also log and use information about any service errors or interruptions that you have experienced in order to help us create fixes and to make technical improvements to our website.

We do not aim our services to children under the age of 13. 16-17 year olds can choose to register for the Step Up Expo event and data may also be collected by exhibitors or sponsors at the event but only with visitors’ permission.
